Equal Blend of Grandes and Petites Champagnes, 40% vol, aged between 25 to 30 years. Maison Audry believes that a great cognac is the fruit of a perfect balance between the bouquet provided by the grapes, the oak coming from the cask and the oxidation due to the surrounding atmosphere in the cellar. This balance is achieved through the three major steps in the time consuming cognac making process : distillation, maturing and blend.
Oak and resin aroma with notes of vanilla, toasted almonds, citrus and bittersweet nougat. Full-bodied bouquet with overtones of caramel, then black tea, honey and ancient oak come to the fore.
